O.Z.O.R.A – The Ultimate Psychedelic Tribal Gathering
OZORA Festival is the ultimate psychedelic Tribal Gathering and undoubtedly one of the most influential psychedelic trance festivals in the world. Originating as a celebration of the 1999 solar eclipse, the festival has grown to become one of the most immersive and interactive experiences in the world. Each year, more than 30,000 visitors travel to the picture perfect village of Ozora in Hungary for a weeklong celebration of music, art and consciousness. The festival features hundreds of musical artists ranging from rising talent to world-renowned acts across six unique stages. There are also a variety of workshops, lectures, art installations, dance and circus performances, markets and more.
Sharing Through Art
The unique universe of OZORA Festival strongly promotes art and human relationships, with plenty of opportunities for all visitors to share and learn new skills. The festival’s ‘ARTibarn’ is a unique, reimagined old barn, which offers a variety of workshops. Visitors are able to dabble in various art forms such as woodwork, pottery, glassblowing, basket weaving and more in a safe and friendly environment. All activities are carried out to promote human exchange and raise environmental awareness.
Discover Through Cooking
OZORA features an exceptional collective kitchen where all visitors can come together and cook fresh food in a natural space. All elements of the ‘wilderness-like’ kitchen are created with wood and a range of recyclable materials. The ‘Cooking Grove’ allows anyone and everyone to prepare meals from their own ingredients. It also offers a number of carefully selected cooking workshops, which covers different topics each day, showcasing a variety of ancient and traditional preparation techniques, global cuisine, food preservation and more.
Heal Your Body & Soul
The ‘Healion’ is the official pavilion of healing activities at OZORA Festival. Explore and practice a variety of unique techniques and healing methods from all over the world. The festival offers everything from Thai massages to crystal therapy, guided relaxation, Tibetan singing bowls and more. There are also a number of calming-balancing sound healing sessions throughout the week.
The Wheel Of Wisdom
The Wheel Of Wisdom (WoW) is a unique program focused on the evolution of human consciousness. Kicking off on the second day of the festival, the program continues for five consecutive days with a variety of lectures and ritual participations. Taught through a unique, multidimensional learning format, the WoW program allows participants to learn the seven levels of consciousness and teaches self-understanding and purpose.

OZORA Festival takes place in the small Hungarian village of Ozora. Inhabited by a few thousand people, this picturesque town is known not only for its world-renowned festival, but for its spectacular architecture; in particular, the square-based palace of Filippo Scolari (also known as the Castle of Ozora). The location offers the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate before or after the festival, as well as a local break from the festival itself throughout the near two-week period.
The festival grounds transform into a unique universe, with all facilities, markets and more available on site. The festival grounds also feature a lake, located near the Ambyss stage. Open for swimming from 08:00-20:00 each day, the lake is a newer addition to the event and welcomes up to 100 visitors to swim at a time.

OZORA Festival FAQ
OZORA Festival is located in Dádpuszta, Hungary, around 140km southwest of Budapest. The festival is named after Ozora, the small village it takes place in each year.
OZORA Festival has grown to become one of the biggest psychedelic trance gatherings in the world; drawing in local and international crowds of more than 30,000 each year. There are 25,000 tickets available to purchase, as well as 5000 available at the gate; however, the all-ages event permits children under 14 to attend for free with an accompanying adult; bringing the total size of the event close to 60,000.
OZORA Festival is easily accessible by both car and public transport. If you are driving, simply insert the festival’s coordinates into your GPS and follow the signs. International visitors can fly into Budapest (Liszt Ferenc) International Airport and begin their journey from Budapest. Attendees have the option to reserve a direct shuttle service from the airport, or make their own way there from the city centre. Airport shuttles can be reserved online in advance from ozorashuttle.com and ground staff will guide you from the airport’s main parking lot all the way to the festival entrance.
If you are travelling from Budapest’s city centre, you can take the train from Budapest to Simontornya. The service runs several times a day, departing from Déli Pályaudvar and stopping at Budapest Kelenföld Station as well. Upon arrival, festival shuttles known as ‘The Party Bus’ are available to transport visitors between the station and the festival gates for 5 euros. The festival takes place over 7 days from Monday to Sunday. The campgrounds open on Friday at 15:00 and close on Tuesday at 12:00, so it is possible to stay on the grounds for up to 11 nights. The festival officially kicks off with the opening ceremony at 20:00 on Monday; however, there is a ‘Day 0’ 24-hour party, which starts on Sunday. The festival continues non-stop for the entire week until the end of the following Monday.
OZORA Festival offers more than 100 acres of grassy fields to set up camp for the week. Camping is entirely free and there are plenty of shaded areas, as well as space to camp next to your vehicles. The grounds feature regularly cleaned eco toilets and more than 200 shower stalls. There are also plenty of drinking water points, food stalls and a grocery store and greengrocer as well. Medical treatment is also available on site and serious cases will be transferred to Dunaújváros Hospital, which is around an hour away.
